Every child learns that frogs say “ribbit”, but the Vishnumayans know better. The sound a frog makes is actually “dönk” at least that is what the frogs do at Wheatley Provincial Parks. We heard a frog lullaby every night when we went to bed.

There was a lot more we learned on this year’s tour. For example that it’s super fun to stay on one huge campsite with 18 people. Yes, it wasn’t really allowed but officially we had three sites, just that one was a decoy and the other two were right next to each other. The yuvas learned how to make fire, wash the dishes and make a sandwich, the elder learnt how to play bebbe-de-bebbe-de-bob, that Androids are the better cell phones and that one never gets too old to play in the sand.

And when we didn’t learn anything we simply gave realization to many people. After a havan (the first in London ever), two advanced seminars for the London and Windsor new yogis, we gave every morning a program at our ‘base Camp’ Wheatley and had additional ones at the Chatham and Sarnia public library. Chatham did a really good job in advertising the program and 21 people received their self-realization. In Sarnia we had a beautiful theatre for the program with a grand piano to Andy’s delight.

After one week we traveled to Michigan and had street realization and a morning program in Ann Arbor. The last day was spent in Shan’s house where we had a delicious lunch and an amazing puja.

Nobody wanted to part and so we had a last meal together to keep those precious collective moments for just a little bit longer.

The Shri Vishnumaya Tour for 2014 will take place from August 1st – 10th. As always the route won’t be fixed until the tour starts.
