From August 1st – 31st, a group of 40 yogis traveled across the country to give self-realization programs. This was the first time Canada did a coast to coast tour and the excitement was high. iMeditate invites you to watch the video and to read all the adventures of the tour here. Map

Saskatoon

The tour has moved along to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan! We were welcomed with open arms by the Saskatchewan yogis on Tuesday evening after a 5 hour drive. Together we enjoyed a beautiful meditation and prayed that the seekers of Saskatchewan get their realization and establish within Sahaja Yoga.

Yesterday during the day, we split off into groups for realization programs in the Saskatoon Farmers Market and the University of Saskatchewan. At the farmers market, there were realization stalls set up inside and outside where seekers enjoyed meditation as well as listening to bhajans. Over 30 people got their realization there! At the university, we where set up in the heart of the campus and sat in small meditation circles where we welcomed seekers to join our circles of meditators to meditate with us and to help the seekers feel more collective and together with us.

In the evening we all came together again and by the grace of Mother performed the first ever havan of Saskatchewan. Then this morning we had Shri Krishna puja. Vibrations were flowing and we could really feel the love and joy and presence of Shri Krishna as we are embarked on this humbling journey across His lands. It was the first puja performed in Saskatchewan ever.

This evening we had two 1 hour programs in the local library with around 120 people. As we moved into the second program the vibrations really began to build as we had discussion groups. Once again our attention was brought to Shri Krishna’s land as beautiful flute music was played by a yuva named Nirmal. This evening we truly were able to bond with all these new seekers!

Tonight we arrived in Regina. With programs packed for 4 beginner classes and 2 going deeper classes with more than  360 registered, and Bhangra dance flash mob in downtown area.

Manitoba, August 24th

Yesterday we had a program at a very very challenging location in Winnipeg, but all the Yuvas stayed brave and supportive and  we protected ourselves with packs, vibrated water and posters of Shri Mataji. And the seekers were absolutely amazing (about 20 of them, some were also challenging). After that we had a very thorough foot-soak in the Saskatchewan River. After the meditation we just couldn’t stop singing, our songs filled the streets of homeless people and pubs with joy… On the way back we stopped at a gas station and spontaneously gave realization to 5 native children on the spot.

We can’t express how much joy we feel spreading vibrations in cities and seeing the eager seekers craving for collectivity. Some of them expressed the desire at their first class, of wanting to establish Sahaj collective and regular meetings in this city.

Toronto August 29th – 31st

We are in ONTARIO!! After a 8 hours drive we are camping at Thunder Bay tonight. In 3 days we’ll be arriving in TORONTO our LAST station!!

We got a response from the Mohawk Nation contact (located in Ontario with more than 1000 members). Please keep this opportunity and all the programs in your Bhandans :)!
